Crock Pot Barbequed Baby Back Ribs

I have been using my crock pot a lot. I tried slowing cooking a rack of ribs using my crock pot. I was nervous that it wasn't going to turn out good but it did! The meat is nice and juicy. It only takes 6 hours on low to cook it. I set the timer and start it at 12 and it's ready by the time I get home from work.

 I also provided you a cole slaw recipe. You can make it the night before, refrigerate it and have it ready by the time the ribs are done.





Ingredients:
3 pounds ribs
salt and pepper
2 cloves garlic
1/4 water
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 bottle (16 ounces) of honey barbecue sauce (Gluten Free)

Directions: 
Salt and pepper both sides of ribs evenly
Rub cumin and cayenne if desired.
Divide the ribs in four and place it into the slow cooker.
Put garlic cloves in with the water
Cover ribs with bbq sauce
Slow cook for 6 hours on low OR 4 hours on high

Serve with corn and homemade slaw



Easy Cole Slaw Recipe

Ingredients: 
1 bag coleslaw mix
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1.4 teaspoon pepper

Directions: 
Combine all ingredients except coleslaw mix in a bowl.
Add coleslaw and toss to coat
Cover and refrigerate for 5 hours to overnight to combine all the flavors.

Slow-Cooked Honey Garlic Chicken with Bok Choy

Don't have time to cook after a long day at work? Try this recipe. This recipe is easy to prep and taste delicious.
















Ingredients: 
4 Chicken Thighs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup honey
5 gloves garlic (diced)
1 teaspoon dried basil

Directions: 
Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey,garlic and basil.
In a slow cooker, put chicken and sauce
Cook on low for 6 hrs

Preheat oven 350F
Bake for 20 min until the skin is crisp.
OR
Brown in a skillet pan before serving
Serve with you favorite vegetable and rice

Sautéed Bok Choy

Heat olive oil in a pan
add diced garlic and Bok Choy
cook until it is tender.
