Cords and Chambs

Before our  Philadelphia Zoo pass expires, we decided to go one last time. We came here so many times that we got to meet a lot of the keepers and animals. If you are ever in Philadelphia, America's first zoo is worth a visit.

Shirt: I like this shirt  a lot! It matches well with colored pants. The only problem I have here is that I got an xs and I still find it a little lose on me.

Pants: Corduroys  are great to wear during the fall. It's warm enough to wear when it's a bit chilly outside. It is a must have pair in the fall!

Bag:This is my to go to purse. The leather doesn't feel heavy on my shoulders. It has detachable adjustable crossbody strap which is great. It is my favorite every day bag!

Aviators: This Tiffany's & Co. aviator match a lot of my outfits which is the reason why  you see it on my blog all the time!

Twist-back Silk Dress Review

Summer is over, but you know what means? most dresses are on sale! Like this twist-back silk dress n hibiscus floral from J.crew. Since it got 4.5 stars, I decided to review it myself

Dress Review:
1. The dress runs big. I got a 00 and I'm usually a 0-2
2. I'm 5'0 and the dress goes down just right above my knee. It is a little too long for my height
3. I love the criss cross back. It a plus.
4. A dress that is perfect for summer but it will also look good for early fall. Pair it with a jean jacket.
5. It is not a fitted dress which is something that I typically won't buy
6. Since the dress isn't fitted, adding a hat to my outfit, makes my outfit a bit more girly.
7. This isn't a dress where I would wear heels or wedges. Wearing sandals or something that has a flat bottom looks best with this dress.

Terakawa - Philadelphia,PA Restaurant Review

Terakawa, one of my favorite spots to go to in Philadelphia. You really have to come here for their broth. According to the friendly waitress I spoke with, the broth is simmered for two days. I can't describe how good the broth is, you just have to go their and taste yourself. It is very authentic. I enjoy ramen and out of all that I tasted, this is by far the best broth I have ever had. It's super tasty, the color says it all. It's not clear like what you usually find. It's just refreshing specially on a rainy day. The place is tiny but it is warm and cozy but since it is in the city, it is difficult to find parking so make sure you plan ahead.

Another thing that is a plus in this place are their workers. They are friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Their bathroom is also a plus. I think that a restaurant with a clean bathroom shows a lot about the restaurant. Even though their place is small, they manage to keep everything clean.

Now that we moved outside the city, we crave to have some ramen fromTerakawa more often. I wish they would open more branches.

This is another of their dish that WE always order. Pork buns. It is slowly roasted pork with crisp butter leaf lettuce over cured tomato and spicy mayo. We always get the steamed buns because I think it works better with the meat than the crispy buns. The taste of the pork really shows. Getting crispy buns will just be too much but steamed buns makes me want more and more of it.

Gyoza- pan fried, marinated pork and vegetable dumplings, served with special house dumpling sauce. It is not my favorite. There's nothing special to it. It taste the same just like the other Gyoza I had.

Shoyu Ramen - I have tasted three of their ramen and this is my favorite. I always choose pork over chicken because pork taste better. It has a lilt bit of fat in the end but that makes it good and tasty.

Shoyu Ramen- Light soy sauce and chicken broth with choice of roast pork (my favorite) or chicken, topped with bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, chopped scallions, fish cake and a seasoned broiled egg.

Miso Ramen - This is what Mitchell gets every time we go there. I personally prefer the Shoyu than this.

Miso Ramen- chicken and pork miso soup, topped iwth bamboo shoots, roast pork (charshu), bean sprouts, chopped scallions, kikurage mushroom and a seasoned boiled egg.
It is $7 for a small and $9 for a large. I think that small is perfect for one person unless you want to take some home, order large if so. There's not much difference between their small and large bowl in my opinion.

Tiny Floral Piped Shirt Dress

Hi everyone! people have been requesting me to also review the clothes that I wear just like how I review the restaurants I go to.  This is a good idea! From now on, I would like  to share my opinion about my clothes to my viewers  in case they would like to purchase it!

Dress: I'm 5'0 tall and I got the XS petite size and I think it fits perfectly. The length is perfect for my height.
The one thing I find hard to deal with is the belt that wraps around my waist. I was contemplating between putting it in the front, the side and or the back. I still have not decided what looks best..

Shoes:  They are wicked comfortable BUT I  find it hard to wear them with anything because  I think wedges, in general make my legs look shorter. I got them because they are adorable and comfortable, so comfortable that I could run on them.  I think they look good with skinny jeans but I refuse to wear them with it because agin, my legs will look shorter. So if you're taller, these would be great for you!
